Marketplace Rules Section Subtitle Adherence to these rules ensures a fair, transparent, and high-quality marketplace for all users. 1. Authenticity and Ownership Originality: All artwork listed for sale must be the original creation of the seller. Proof of Authenticity: The seller must be able to provide proof of authenticity upon request. This may include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), documentation of the creation process, or a clear chain of provenance. No Replicas or Unauthorized Prints: You may not sell unauthorized reproductions, replicas, or prints of another artist's work. Copyright and IP: The seller is responsible for ensuring that their artwork does not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property of any third party. 2. Listing and Description Accuracy: The listing description must be accurate and truthful. It should include, but is not limited to: Artist's name Title of the artwork Medium (e.g., oil on canvas, watercolor, mixed media, sculpture, digital print) Dimensions (height x width x depth) Year of creation Condition of the artwork (e.g., excellent, good, with minor damage) Framing status (framed, unframed, gallery-wrapped) Photographs: Multiple high-quality photographs are required. Photos should accurately represent the colors, texture, and condition of the artwork. Include a photo of the artist's signature or mark. Provide a photograph of the artwork in context (e.g., on a wall) to help buyers visualize its size. Pricing: The price of the artwork must be clearly stated. Pricing should be in a currency specified by the marketplace. Sellers are encouraged to price their work fairly and in line with the market value of similar pieces. 3. Prohibited Content and Practices Offensive or Illegal Content: Artwork that is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes illegal acts is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is racist, sexist, homophobic, or violent. Mass-Produced Items: The marketplace is for original, handmade, or limited-edition art. Mass-produced items, such as generic posters or commercially manufactured decorations, are not permitted. Misleading Information: Providing false information about the artwork, the artist, or the sale is grounds for removal from the platform. Encouraging Off-Platform Transactions: All sales must be completed through the marketplace's designated payment system. Sellers are not allowed to direct buyers to external websites or to complete the transaction outside of the platform. 4. Shipping and Returns Packaging: Sellers are responsible for packaging the artwork securely to prevent damage during shipping. Shipping Costs: The cost of shipping should be clearly stated in the listing or calculated at checkout. Timely Shipping: The artwork must be shipped within the timeframe specified in the listing. Return Policy: The seller's return policy must be clearly stated. This includes the conditions for returns, the timeframe for return requests, and who is responsible for return shipping costs. Damaged Items: If an item arrives damaged, the buyer must report it within a specific timeframe (e.g., 48 hours). The seller is responsible for working with the buyer and the shipping carrier to resolve the issue. 5. Seller Conduct Communication: Sellers must respond to buyer inquiries and messages in a timely and professional manner. Professionalism: Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor in all interactions with buyers and other members of the community. Ratings and Reviews: Do not attempt to manipulate the ratings or review system. Compliance: All sellers must comply with these rules and any other policies set forth by the marketplace. Violation of these rules may result in the removal of the listing, suspension of the seller's account, or permanent ban from the platform. These rules are subject to change. It is the seller's responsibility to stay informed about the most current version of the marketplace rules.

ArtsKeeper is free for artists! We may charge a small referral fee or commission for items sold in our store to cover operating costs. Our rates are lower than traditional fees, and we are transparent about them. Some services may have fees in the future, but we will clearly mark them so you are aware. Any excess earnings are reinvested back into the artist community. 11 Does ArtsKeeper need volunteers? Yes, please check our Volunteers page for information and open volunteer positions. We believe volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, develop under the mentorship of experienced people and contribute to the arts community. ArtsKeeper depends on volunteers and appreciates the people who are working to bring you this platform and are working to keep it interesting and helpful. 12 Why does ArtsKeeper have public rooms? The public rooms are for everyone to post and share. We also provide private, specific artist-type focused communities for members only. 13 Why does ArtsKeeper have private rooms? The private rooms are for artists of various types to discuss private affairs. They are safe places to discuss and display your works in progress, swap ideas and materials, create teams and more. If you don't see a private room that meets your needs, let us know and we'll happily create one. 14 How does ArtsKeeper help provide exposure? We showcase artwork submitted by artists on the ArtsKeeper web site where we have: an online gallery for paintings, sculptures, photographs, etc. an online library, with an ArtsKeeper branded ebook reader, so that people can read your work an online music hall where people can listen to your music a streaming channel where people can see your performances we are starting a collection of ArtsKeeper podcasts to allow artists to tell their stories and more We will promote your work on social media to raise your visibility and create a following.     Donovan Baldwin Donovan Baldwin is a retired U.S. Army, seventy-eight-year-old caregiver. He began writing teenage angst poems in the 1960's until encouraged to open up by a lady in Germany in 1968, who read one of his poems on a bar napkin and praised his work. He writes poems on many subjects, but especially romance, with dips into eroticism. His poetry was published in various magazines in the 80's, and his poems have been published and reviewed in Ponder 2021 and Ponder 2022, including his poem, Naked Outside Of Eden. Jonathan Pogorelskin I’ve been making art, mostly cartoons, since I was in the 7th. Grade. I started out copying the art I enjoyed by reading “Car-Toons” magazine, “Drag Cartoons”, and the stuff being put out by Ed ”Big Daddy” Roth in the hot-rod magazines of the day. “Rat Fink” was a favorite, and I could copy it faithfully which gave me a status with the greaser crowd, and offered me protection. He has traveled, lived and worked in over 35 countries around the world but for the past 10 years has found his home in Mumbai. Idonaba Zealous I am a young and passionate artist, who creates realistic black and white art with pencils. Tuyisenge Chislon Tuyisenge Chislon, born 1997 in Rwanda. He is active as a young visual artist, as well as in traditional dance and photography. Chislon finds inspiration from nature and African traditional artworks but is also influenced by prominent artists from around the world.
