Our services are designed to support successful art-based businesses. 02 How can I promote my work on ArtsKeeper? www.artskeeper.org Promote UR Art | ArtsKeeper ArtsKeeper helps showcase your work via the Promote UR Art service - let us help raise your visibility and grow your following. to this page and complete the form which provides us with all the info we need and gives us your permission. 03 What services does ArtsKeeper provide? ArtsKeeper helps provide artists with free or low cost tools to support growing an arts-based business. ArtsKeeper offers public and private rooms where you can discuss your work with friends and colleagues, and give and receive help. Explore our communities to connect with fellow artists. 05 How does ArtsKeeper help provide exposure? We have a showcase where you can display your work, - an online gallery for paintings, sculptures, photographs, etc. - an online library, with an ebook reader, so that people can read your work, - an online music hall where people can listen to your music - a streaming channel where people can see your performances. We will promote your work on social media to raise your visibility and help you create a following. 06 How can ArtsKeeper help artists generate income? We have an ecommerce store where people will be able to buy your art. In addition, we will collaborate with other sites that sell art; we enable artists to collaborate with others; we will have lists of calls and auditions; we will find venues, publicize jam sessions and help artists find agents and sell tickets to shows, concerts, films, etc.; and we will have a location to find awards, prizes and scholarships. 07 What types of artistic categories does ArtsKeeper support? ArtsKeeper covers the literary arts, music, the visual arts, performance arts and will also cover broadcasting, architecture and the decorative arts and crafts. Our goal is to be inclusive, so if you don't see an appropriate category for your art, let us know. 08 What types of Artists will find ArtsKeeper Useful? ArtsKeeper is for: - writers, novelists, poets, story writers and essayists, whether they write books, eBooks, audiobooks or comics, all type of writers - painters, sculptors, photographers, lithographers, printmakers, etc. - musicians of every type - performers, dancers, actors, filmmakers, circus artists, comedians, etc. - broadcasters in television, radio, podcasting and bloggers, etc. -architects and designers - artists working in the decorative arts and crafts including ceramics, fashion design, carvings, embroidery, weaving and more 09 How can I Join ArtsKeeper? First thing to do is click the Join button at the top right so we have your contact information. Then contact us via email and we'll get back to you right away. 10 Does ArtsKeeper charge any fees? ArtsKeeper is free for artists! We may charge a small referral fee or commission for items sold in our store to cover operating costs. Our rates are lower than traditional fees, and we are transparent about them. Some services may have fees in the future, but we will clearly mark them so you are aware. Any excess earnings are reinvested back into the artist community. 11 Does ArtsKeeper need volunteers? Yes, please check our Volunteers page for information and open volunteer positions. We believe volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, develop under the mentorship of experienced people and contribute to the arts community. ArtsKeeper depends on volunteers and appreciates the people who are working to bring you this platform and are working to keep it interesting and helpful. 12 Why does ArtsKeeper have public rooms? The public rooms are for everyone to post and share. We also provide private, specific artist-type focused communities for members only. 13 Why does ArtsKeeper have private rooms? The private rooms are for artists of various types to discuss private affairs. They are safe places to discuss and display your works in progress, swap ideas and materials, create teams and more. If you don't see a private room that meets your needs, let us know and we'll happily create one. 14 How does ArtsKeeper help provide exposure? We showcase artwork submitted by artists on the ArtsKeeper web site where we have: an online gallery for paintings, sculptures, photographs, etc. an online library, with an ArtsKeeper branded ebook reader, so that people can read your work an online music hall where people can listen to your music a streaming channel where people can see your performances we are starting a collection of ArtsKeeper podcasts to allow artists to tell their stories and more We will promote your work on social media to raise your visibility and create a following. You can submit your work following the steps on the ArtsKeeper Services page. 15 Will there be ads on ArtsKeeper? Yes, ArtsKeeper will eventually have ads to help cover expenses. We will ensure they are not intrusive and aim to make them helpful to you. 16 What's coming next? We intend to provide a platform for lectures, teaching, jams, podcasts, and poetry readings. Coming soon. If you would like to help with any of these, let us know... we'd love your help. 17 How can I get Involved in ArtsKeeper? We need your help to spread the word about ArtsKeeper to get more artists to join and use our services. The bigger we get, the better chance we have of getting donations and investments so we can provide more services to our community.     Donovan Baldwin Donovan Baldwin is a retired U.S. Army, seventy-eight-year-old caregiver. He began writing teenage angst poems in the 1960's until encouraged to open up by a lady in Germany in 1968, who read one of his poems on a bar napkin and praised his work. He writes poems on many subjects, but especially romance, with dips into eroticism. His poetry was published in various magazines in the 80's, and his poems have been published and reviewed in Ponder 2021 and Ponder 2022, including his poem, Naked Outside Of Eden. He can be found and his poetry can be read on X (Twitter), as @donovanbaldwin. He also publishes poetry on a forum at ArtsKeeper.org. Peter Stevenson Peter Stevenson is a fine artist and illustrator. He has lived and worked in various markets, including Washington D.C., center city Philadelphia, northern New Jersey and New York City, where he is a member of the prestigious Society of Illustrators. Melodye Mitchell Melodye Mitchell’s passion for artistic expression surfaced late in life after retiring from civil service in the state and federal governments for nearly 50 years. Painting began as a curiosity and blossomed into a full blown passion. Kayla Cook Kayla Cook is a writer, artist, and book reviewer based in the USA. Idonaba Zealous I am a young and passionate artist, who creates realistic black and white art with pencils. Tuyisenge Chislon Tuyisenge Chislon, born 1997 in Rwanda. He is active as a young visual artist, as well as in traditional dance and photography.     Sell on the ArtsKeeeper Store The ArtsKeeper Store is opening on June 1! Artists who want place their work in our store are asked to review the Seller agreement below. Then schedule an appointment with our Store Manager to answer questions and add your work(s). ArtsKeeper Seller Agreement This Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Date], by and between ArtsKeeper, a [Your State] corporation ("Platform" or "Company"), and [Vendor's Name], a resident of [Vendor's City, State] ("Seller"). Scope of Agreement : Seller agrees to use the ArtsKeeper online store platform ("Platform") to sell their products. Intellectual Property - For the purposes of this agreement, "Intellectual Property" shall refer to any and all patents, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets, copyrights, designs, and any other proprietary rights recognized by applicable laws. Seller's Intellectual Property: The Seller represents and warrants that they are the sole owner of all Intellectual Property related to the goods or services being sold under this agreement, and that the use of such Intellectual Property does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. Commission : Seller agrees to pay the Platform a commission on the sale of each item. The commission rate is [Specify commission percentage] of the total sale amount. The ArtsKeeper Store Manager will review and negotiate this rate with the Seller. The commission will be deducted automatically from the sales proceeds before payment is remitted to the Seller. Order Fulfillment : Seller agrees to fulfill customer orders within 5 business days of receiving the order or as agreed upon with the buyer. The Seller will provide any correspondence between seller and buyer to ArtsKeeper for record keeping purposes only. In the event that Seller cannot fulfill an order within the specified time frame, Seller must promptly notify the Platform and the customer, providing an estimated delivery date. Shipping and Tracking : Seller agrees to notify the Platform once an item has been shipped. Seller must provide a valid tracking number for each shipped item within 5 business days of shipping to both the buyer and to ArtsKeeper. It is in the artist seller's best interest to provide ArtsKeeper with proof that purchased items have been mailed on time by sending us the Delivery Company's tracking number. We will use this information to help resolve any disputes should they arise. Payments : Payments from sales, after deducting the agreed-upon commission, will be remitted to the Seller's designated payment method immediately upon the sale of your work. Product Listings : Seller is responsible for creating accurate and detailed product listings, including product descriptions, prices, and images. Seller must ensure that all listed products comply with applicable laws and regulations. Term and Termination : This Agreement shall commence on [Start Date] and continue until terminated by either party with written notice. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate Seller's account for violation of terms or for any reason at its sole discretion. Confidentiality : Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or confidential information shared during the course of this Agreement. Governing Law : This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Delaware, US.
