Man attempts to control
The sun as it crosses the sky
Inventing conventions
To save daylight
We spring forward
And fall back
Such craziness
No man commands the sun
Isn’t it hard enough
To pass the shorter days
And cold months inside
Without this nonsense
Stop, please stop
Leave time and sun
And clocks alone
My dog is confused
As in days of yore
We will pass darken
Months by the fire
With cups of mulled wine
No need to help along
The Dark Time
It will surely pass
As Nature intended
