one by one veils fail
lovers dance intimately
imprinting secrets
-----
door shut robe cast aside
naked before her mirror
selects words for him
-----
perhaps flesh speaks truth
for is loving heart not also flesh
and nakedly bare
-----
when it comes to love
does mind or body know more
best speak together
-----
she's no paradox
gentle yet so passionate
her loving self set free
-----
sweetly innocent
yet her deep passions seething
ready for release
-----
poet writes for her
but dark silence echoes
in his unclaimed heart
-----
never dreamed i loved you
from the first my love was real
perhaps you've known
-----
her soldier poet
will not let her fires grow cold
forever on guard
-----
holds my arm just so
pressure of her breast against
means i belong to her
-----
leather and metal
stripped away reveal the man
once rough but now tame
one voice for orders
the other for words of love
whispered to her ear
she watches him sleep
proud of peace and pleasure brought
cold armor to warm breast
-----
anxiously i wait
looking for her appearance
reason for my words
-----
all the rules of love
respect, loyalty, and kindness
freedom to be free
-----
Your one small flower a garden,
You tending the silken petals,
I the inquisitive bee among them,
Sampling thw drops of nector,
Which rest upon and flow along,
The gentle folds and fronds,
The blushing pastels dark to light,
Watercolor masterpieces, brushstrokes,
Awaiting the poet's return
Adulation and admiration as they
Become inspirations of poetry.
-----
if you loved the man
in the manner of the poet
same way he loves you
----
i will hold your hand
as you explore your desires
whatever they are
-----
i've seen you naked
not the bare and lovely skin
but your needs and wants
-----
how daring you are
showing those exposing words
knowing i'm watching
-----
oh to be wanted
for once be someone's idol
to not be ignored
-----
vodka masks the pain
and yet brings back memories
when love hurt so good
-----
depression takes me
darkness i have kept at bay
has won one more round
-----
one perfect woman
love so free she can be mine
for we love freely
-----
when i stop loving
everybody everything
the poet is dead
-----
dare not write tonight
lest i expose my foolish love
oh, how i desire to
-----
if i chose her
she would be a lot like you
so free and yet mine
----
not allowed to love
total love a sinful thing
how can you say this
----
woman i desire
she who oves so completely
understand my love
-----
