if i could touch you
places my words have not been
just once with my hands
-----
coping with madness
dealing with dementia daily
trying to stay sane
-----
galaxies of love
bursting from your soul and mine
our own universe
-----
empty gallery
old and precious work of art
hoping to be seen
-----
he failed to treasure
valuable woman she is
does not deserve her
-----
what is there to love
an old man writing poetry
that few people read
-----
with each passing year
deep sadness falls more often
heart is emptier
-----
it echoes you know
the void once made where i stood
when i was destroyed
-----
need to let it go
mad belief that someone cares
when there is no one
-----
don't fear difference
you and i might be more alike
than either imagine
-----
I make no promises,
I do not intend to keep.
I will not say I will,
Until I know I can.
I'll not say I love you
Unless I knoe I do.
I'll not touch you,
Unless it's your desire,
I'll not leave you,
As long as you love me.
-----
Listening to silence, she
Hears his voice upon the wind,
The words touching her inside,
Reminding her of the strength
Of the love they shared,
The love she would never let go of,
The love that sustained her,
As she listened to
The distant love words,
Upon the breeze that
Touched her cheek,
Like a lover.
-----
she never loved me
one dream after the other
never the real thing
-----
each day is the same
a bit closer to the grave
a bit less of life
-----
i ceased to exist
no one knows that i still feel
wish they could see me
