Each morning,
I pick up and put on,
All the clothing
Trappings
Accoutrements
Which serve to make me me
Identifying me
To others
And, to myself,
For, would they know me,
Or, I know myself,
If I did not have
The keys in my pocket,
The glasses on my face,
The words in my head,
Put there by my history
And heritage?
