Where does the kiss begin?

Is it in the mind?

The intent, the expectation?

Is it when the arms go around,

And the bodies meet,

And the lips part

In preparation to make

This connection permanent,

And send what appears to be

A merd contact of lips,

Something that echoes

Throughout the body

And the soul?
