read out loud for me
so i may hear beyond words
all your hopes and dreams
-----
muse visits poet
to tease with whispers and touches
such sinful wonders
------
leaves upon the wind
weaving soaring poetry
i and the sky see
-----
Beggar poet carries little,
But enough to make him a prince.
His little bag of poetry,
Containing a moon and
A few of his favorite stars,
Disguised as words,
The only gifts he has
For his lady love...
Trinkets of wonder,
For her to keep
Next to her heart,
To be taken out and treasured,
Reminders from time to time,
Of the itinerant poet,
Who, loving from afar
Wrote of love,
And the moon and stars,
Because of her..
-----
despite best intentions
i don't know how to kiss you
unless you show me first
-----
stimulating words
fluttering across her skin
a breath of kisses
-----
her flower unfolds
revealing lustrous petals
silk with drops of dew
-----
she gasps as if touched
poetry flows over her
his words freed at last
-----
beautiful rainbows
but we will sing of the storms
that arch them upward
-----
fingers on your skin
speaking with my silent words
leaving you speechless
