(With a nod to Galileo.
"Eppur si muove."
And yet it moves.)
Poems do not move,
And yet they do.
They remain, stable and unchanging,
Yet they move people's minds and thoughts,
Perhaps their hearts,
Sometimes changing them,
The people.
Remaining unchanged themselves.
The poems.
Poems move not,
Yet each reading, recitation, recalling,
Moves.
