grief's blossom growing
takes time to fill poet's heart
when words will happen
-----
tempting morsel falls
golden drop of olive oil
anointing her breast
-----
this small dark blossom
tight bud upon this smooth hill
touched by wind and rain
-----
reality indeed
love and want and even lust
may live together
-----
love has not seasons
existing with cold snow and rain
and warmest summer winds
-----
solo interlude
moonlight's silver arms about her
dancing by herself
-----
chains will never bind her
but she will tie the knots herself
his ropes of loving words
-----
her healing touches
kisses and caresses balm
ease my many wounds
-----
morning dew along each fold
as love's dear flower blossoms
petals glistening
-----
sheer clinging satin
leaves no doubt of womanhood...
neither do my words
-----
what purpose touch or kiss
if no move or sound escapes
to show it matters
------
hard fingers amazed
how soft her skin to my touch
how softly she sighs
-----
minutes stolen from
duties and obligations
only "me" time i've got
-----
all the love i've wasted
given away and nothing back
the last days empty
