flowers dance topless
exposing prettiest parts
with carefree abandon
shaken by the wind
passing among their folds
as if lover's touch
unashamed and bare
their honey-covered petals
to tempt a lover
-----
not now afraid to share
nor embarrassed she to bare
what once she didn't dare
-----
echoes in emptiness
love dissipates to nothingness
how it's always been
-----
sighs beneath his touch
fingertips like butterflies
writing poems on skin
-----
poet in the dark
awaiting the messages
she fears to tell him
-----
could have been lovers
in another place and time
but not here and now
-----
if i'd found the one
who could love the way i do...
but that's just a dream
-----
our hearts hold secrets
aches and needs so much alike
if only they could meet
-----
i must write you know
releasing these images
that riot in my mind
-----
the poems you chose
told me of desires that longed
to escape as words
-----
pastel petals sway
flower at your fingertips
rains crystal tears of joy
-----
i'd not lose my heart
but gladly give it away
she has but to ask
-----
though i can't see all
like a portion of the moon
she shines in my night
-----
over and over
edging near lust's precipice
repetitive motion
