Trilogy
blossom's petals bend
beneath the touch of her hands...
weighted with honey
heaven sought which hides
just beyond her fingers' reach...
in secret garden
she's edging along
path leading to ecstasy
moaning with desire
-----
delicate heartbeats
raised to thundering gallop...
in love's wildest ride
-----
kissing her petals
hot breath causes dew to fall...
into eager lips
-----
on her steady path
edging forward then returns...
nearer to the end
-----
love's deficiency
needs reuglar injections...
to be rectified
-----
blooming as tongue pens
his poetry on her petals...
weeping at his words
-----
CHALLENGE OF THE AXE
A morning years ago,
The crack of dawn was
In reality the axe
Splitting the log...
My muscles happy,
For the moment to
Have this place and time
These woods and birds,
And morning mist,
The challenge of the axe,
The challenge of the logs,
The reward of rest,
A warm fire, and,
Fresh, hot coffee.

Trilogy
horizon of rose gold
black ocean's stately chorale...
poetry we share
arm about your waist
reveling in your honest sighs...
at dusk's powerful beauty
exalted by the claim
of your arm encirling me...
loving press of body
-----
stole the moon and stars
kept them safe next to my heart...
for you and me alone
-----
love words soft whispers
silver moonlight turns bright as day...
lighting our eternity
-----
you silently smile
yet that calm smile wakes a storm...
lashing my desires
-----
very daunting task
explaining my love in words...
transcribing feelings
-----
gasping in her awe
at the floating hues of dusk...
blindly reaches for me
-----
my secrets exposed
myself revealed each word i write...
each painful drop of ink
-----
at night's far edges
two moons briefly visible...
so sadly apart
-----
mutual pursuit
supernatural desires...
mortal deities
-----
tears and cries she fades
love i possess in a dream...
she can never stay
