Eyes focused on uncertain shape
Above the ocean's deep blue gray
I watched a single lonesome gull
Which weaved and soared so far away.
Gray bird which might have been
Soul long lost and doomed to roam
I watched 'til its soul and mine were one
With it saw the sky, the sea, the foam.
We caught breezes, swooped and swung,
Gull and I united in that salty air
For an eternity until he went away
Left my own lost soul soaring there.
