As wonderful as words are,
And as much as I love them,
Nothing, no poem or novel,
Can express innermost feelings,
Like a look, longing and wistful,
Lecherous,
And simultaneously,
Loving...
A touch, intimately intrusive
Yet, permitted for the meaning
Is felt by hand and body...
The embrace, each in contact
Breaking boundaries in
Mutual desire,
One more look...
Inches away,
Face cupped in hands,
Slight shake of head in awe,
And then the kiss...
Leading to all the other ways
Love, lust, desire, want, need,
May be expressed...
Without words.
